I began training agility in 2003 with my first dog “Ace” a rescue dog with lots of confidence issues. After trying obedience I was introduced to agility and the amount of confidence it gave Ace was AMAZING...and I was hooked :)
After using “older methods” to teach Ace agility I knew there were better ways. Which lead me to Columbia K9 Sports Center in Columbia, Missouri. Learning new POSITIVE methods of training agility made all the difference in Ace!
After moving to Minnesota in 2004, I taught classes at Canine Agility of Central Minnesota. While teaching classes was fun, I felt that certain handler/dog teams were not getting the individual attention they needed. I saw a need for private instruction.
I founded Full Tilt Dog Training in 2007 and I now have many great students with all different breeds of dogs!
I believe the key to a great agility team is a great relationship! Positive motivation is used and I want both the handler and the dog to have fun! No training method works for every dog, so being able to change things around to suit each dog is my goal.
Many of my students were ready to quit training in agility, with relationship issues, training issues or handling issues, each student has gone on to competition and many in the higher levels! You CAN teach an old dog new tricks!

Currently I only do private or semi-private instruction. I feel this gives my students a real one on one experience that is all about them and their dog! Many of my students ONLY do private instruction now because of the fact that they get their lesson tailored to their needs!
My goal with each team is to make them the best they can be! I want my students to be prepared for higher levels of competition not just going out there and “barely getting through”. My students trial in a variety of venues including AKC, USDAA, NADAC, ASCA and CPE.
If you are looking to step up your training in agility to compete at the highest levels, give me a call!
UPDATE:
I will be taking a few new clients for instruction! Prior to this my times were full, however I have decided to teach agility full time so if you are interested please contact me asap as I will not be taking new clients for long!
